SERVICE KING COLLISION REPAIR

At The Infinite Agency, my assignment was being the lead writer for Service King. It was my job to make sure that they sounded as good on the Internet as the cars they expertly repaired in the real world.

Service King Social Media

Let's face it - having your car repaired after a wreck isn't fun. That's probably why people don't normally follow collision repair services regularly on social media. To change that, Art Directors Andrew Godfrey & Danny McDonald worked tirelessly with me to create fun, engaging posts for Facebook and Instagram that would keep readers amused and engaged, even when they didn't have a car in the shop.

Service King Blogs

For a summer, Service King decided to own the idea of road trips by creating the 2022 Service King Road Trip Giveaway.

From fun cash giveaways to important tips and tricks, they wanted to be the one-stop shop for everything summer road trip related. One of the ways I ensured that they were the King of road trips was by releasing a fun bi-weekly blog, teaching readers everything from tips for last-minute trips to how to see some secret National Parks.

If you have time, I suggest the "Top 10 Songs To Annoy Loved Ones With Next Road Trip". I might have had TOO much fun with that one.

Service King Internal Communications

Working on Service King wasn't just about talking to customers. In fact, employees were probably even more important, since turnaround in the workforce was such a problem. One way art director Danny McDonald and I tried to help reduce turnover and make working for the King more fun was by creating an easy-to-follow internal contest that pitted the different regions against each other in the Service King 500 Race to the Finish.

Each week, Service King employees would receive a video like this one, showing who was currently in the lead for the prize.

Meanwhile this poster was placed in all Service King break rooms explaining how the contest worked and what all they could win!
